1 Timothy Chapter 5

CHAPTER 5

Lord, may I never strike at leaders, but may I rather encourage & exhort them, as a father, & also do this to younger men as my brothers.

Female leaders are to be treated as mothers & I must treat younger women as sisters, with my thoughts, speech & actions being pure.

Remind me to honour true widows.

If I have parents or grand parents in need, enable me to provide for them as is acceptable in Your sight God.

As a real widow, left alone, I place my hope on God, telling You Lord what I need, devoting myself to You & entrusting myself to Your power, every night & every day.
I do not want to be engrossed in my own pleasure, for that is a dead end street.
I accept these commands Lord, help me to be without blame.
Help me Lord to provide for my own family, those in my house.
May I never deny the divinely implanted principles of faith; that would make me worse than an unbeliever.

As a widow under sixty I will not seek assistance.
If I am a widow, I ask for Your help & strength so that I can do good works, bring up children, be hospitable to strangers, wash the saints feet, give aid to the troubled & apply myself to follow every good work.
As a young widow, guide me on whether I should follow Christ totally or should I remarry?
Guard me & guide me so that I do not do the wrong thing; I put my trust in You Lord.
May I never become negative, wandering from house to house, babbling & meddling in other peoples business, speaking for the sake of speaking, not paying attention to what I say.

As a young woman, I ask You Lord to help me find the right husband, to get married, have & raise children, run my household, not giving any starting point to the adversary to abuse me.
May I never turn aside & follow after satan.

Lord, if I have any widows in my family, help me to aid them, may I not let the church be burdened by my family. May I also help the church to aid true widows.

As an elder or a leader may I stand before those I lead with care & diligence. To those leaders who do lead in this manner, let me give them double honour, especially those who labour in preaching & teaching the word of God.

Deuteronomy 25: 4 says “You must not muzzle or hinder the ox that is working on the corn, to get the best out of it.” Jesus said in Matthew 10: 10 “The labourer is worthy of his pay.”
Let me never accept or even listen to any charge or accusation of any elder, except if there are at least two or three witnesses to the charge.
If I have missed the mark, hep me to accept my correction, even in front of other leaders, so they too may learn from my experience.

I want to obey & guard these principles earnestly in Your sight God & my Lord Jesus Christ, as well as in the sight of the angels.

Help me to observe these without prejudging & apart from prejudice, to not be inclined toward prejudice or prejudgement.
Remind me not to lay hands on any one without sufficient testing.
Remind me & protect me from other peoples moral sins, in thought, word or deed.
Help me to never send unfit men into the ministry.
Help me to take care of my physical health.
Help me to live correctly at all times Lord, especially when under pressure or testing.
May Your life be evident in me always, may people see & know by all I do, say or think, that Jesus is Lord of my life; my entire life.

1 Timothy Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4

Lord, I know Your Spirit told us it would be so, but I pray that I would not be one of those that falls away from the divinely implanted faith; that I would not give any attention to deceitful spirits & demons or their teachings; that I would not be a hypocrite, which is really to be a liar; that my conscience would always be soft & receptive to Your Spirit & not cauterised against Your Spirit; that I would always see marriage as honourable & all food which You have created, I receive with thanks.

Help me to realise that every creature of Yours is good & that nothing must be refused, being received, accompanied with thanksgiving to You; sanctified as it meets with Your word as I ask You to do it.

Help me to remember these things & to be a good servant of Yours Lord Jesus, to be nourished up in the words of faith & of good doctrine, which I also need Your help to put into practice.

Help me to reject at all cost, profane, blasphemous old wives tales. Help me to rather train myself toward being reverent, respectful & honourable. For to exercise my body is of some small benefit, but reverence, respect & honour have benefits toward all things, having promises of the full, active & resurrected eternal life, that can be partaken of now & is still to come.

Help me to accept & apply this wisdom from You.
Help me to labour & strive for this because it is something You have set out for me & because I have hoped on the living God , the Saviour of all men since Adam, especially of the believing.

Help me to make this known, to explain it fully & to teach it to others.

May my age never be a factor & help me to be an example, a type for the believing to mimic: in my speech, in my conversation, in spontaneous love, in how my spirit is overall & in my divinely implanted faith.

Lord, help me to be careful about what I read, how I encourage or comfort & what I teach. Let me always be mindful of the gift of grace that is within me as well as any prophecy or prayers made over me.

May I contemplate & even use my imagination on these; to be fully occupied in them, in order that my progress may be manifest to all.

Strengthen me so that I would pay attention to my own self & to what I teach; so that I would follow the prophecy & prayers, for this shall save both me & them that hear me.

1 Timothy Chapter3

CHAPTER 3

Lord help me to desire & want the good things of You.

May I be blameless, faithful to my wife, alert to possible danger; may I deal seriously with serious issues; may I be clothed with good behaviour, friendly & generous with a character suitable to teach; may I not have a feeling or desire for alcohol; may I have no desire for physical violence or be motivated by money making but rather to be patient & not contentious nor loving money; Help me to run my own home & affairs well, & may my children have a teachable spirit & an honest spirit; I really need Your help in this Lord or how can I expect to take care of Your people?

May I never presume to teach or advise on things I have no experience with; may I not become puffed up with pride & meet with the same judgement of the devil.

May my testimony from non-believers be good & may I never do anything that would give non-believers valid reason to scorn me, for that would suit the devil’s plans & purposes.

As Your servant Lord may I be honest & honourable, without any desire or self-justification for double standards, with no driving desire for alcohol or motive for making money: May I hold, cling to the sacred secret of the divinely implanted faith that would be my clear conscience.

If I am tested Lord, may I serve You & Your people, with Your help may I do so without any bad report or blame.

Lord help my wife to be honest & honourable, not to be a gossip or slanderer, to be self controlled, true & faithful, in all these things.

Strengthen & help me to always be true to my wife, to guide my children & my household correctly.

Help me to serve well Lord, to gain possession of a good stage in my walk with You as well as great freedom as I remain within You, who are exalted.

Lord, regardless of whether I meet often with my leaders or not, help me to behave & conduct myself correctly amongst Your people who are the teachers & conveyors of the truth.
Help me to understand the sacred secret of godliness, reverence, respect & honour toward all people even though it is very deep; this was brought to light in person, set right before God in the operation & working of the Holy Spirit, actually seen by angels, proclaimed among non-believers, believed by all Your creation & received up into glory.

1 Timothy Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

Lord, there is a need that I bring on behalf of mankind; we need Your power for this for only You can do it Lord, & so I come into Your presence, through Jesus, confident that You will do it; & I also give You thanks; all of this is on behalf of all men, on behalf of all rulers, on behalf of all who have authority: Lord, that we may be living a quiet & peaceable life, a life manifesting reverence, respect & honour toward anyone, with serious feelings & intentions. By this may my life be good & acceptable to You, my God & my Saviour.

Lord, may many come to salvation, may many meet with the knowledge of the truth.

I confess that there is one God & one mediator of God & men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, the testimony in it’s own season.
Lord, enable me to be a herald, send me Lord to teach believers & non-believers, may I never resort to telling lies, but to always tell the truth that comes from Your faith & truth within me.

May I have a deliberate desire to pray to God, no matter what place I am in, lifting up hands of grace, without wrath or disputing.

As a wife, may my look, my cosmetics, be modest & not cause improper feelings or thoughts in myself or in others, may I dress, act & speak to suit the seriousness & earnestness of having met with God. That my life would reflect the beauty of God Himself living through me & that I would not permit created things like gold or pearls or fancy clothes that I could wear, give a false impression of beauty.

As a wife help me to learn with an inner peace & mental attitude of “I am here to learn.”
As a wife I will not teach or usurp the authority of my husband, instead I will subject myself to him for Adam was first formed then Eve, & Adam was not taken in or deceived thoroughly but the wife came to be the one who moved aside in her thinking & overstepped what was said.

But through childbearing I shall be saved & if You help me to continue my life in faith, love & holiness with the seriousness that comes from having met with God.

1 Timothy Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Lord, may I too be sent forth by You Jesus, our exalted & glorified Christ, by the commandment of Father God our Saviour & You Jesus Christ, who is our hope.

May I too have genuine children who are believers.

Grant me grace, mercy & peace, God my Father & Christ Jesus my Lord.

Give me patience to stay where I am called & wisdom & the strength, to adhere to the correct doctrine, & to command others not to teach otherwise.

May I be protected from any influence from myths & endless time span theories, which just raise more questions instead of bringing me more awareness of what God is doing in my time, which is also done within & through the faith God has planted in me.

May I always be aware that any command is to increase pure love to flow from a pure heart & a good conscience & from divinely implanted faith.

May I never swerve from this & may I never turn aside to get caught up into futility.

Guide me Lord so that as a teacher I would understand what I say & teach.

Your law is good Lord, help me to use it correctly; for it is not for those in right relationship with You Lord, but for those who have contempt for law, undisciplined, ungodly, those who miss the mark & then wander from the path, for the unholy, the profane, murderers, for whoremongers, prostitutes, lesbians & homosexuals, liars & perjurers & simply put: any other opposite that is contrary to sound doctrine: Keep me Lord from ever falling back into that style of life; keep me in the glory of the Gospel of Yours, my happy God, with which You entrust me.

I have thanks for You Christ Jesus , my exalted Lord: enable me & help me to remain faithful to You & to serving You.

Keep me from blasphemy, from persecuting others, from insulting others.
If I have done things like these, Lord, have mercy on me please, forgive my ignorance & my lack of trust in You.

Lord let Your grace toward me exceed abundance & be accompanied with divinely implanted faith & unconditional love which are in Christ Jesus my exalted Lord.
Thank You Christ Jesus, for coming into the world to save me, a sinner at the head of the list. Thank You Jesus, my Messiah, for Your mercy & patience toward me; Help me so that as You work through me others may believe on You & meet up with God’s life, everlasting.

Now to You, my King of the ages, eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, I want & give my life for You to live through, that You would get honour & glory for ever & ever, Amen.

Lord, I commit myself, with Your help of course, to be as a good soldier doing good soldiering; implant Your faith in me Lord & keep my conscience clear.

May I never reject Your faith & may I never reject a clear conscience – protect me from this Lord & protect me from ever being shipwrecked in my faith.
Lord keep me from ever being contemptuous or irreverent regarding anything concerning You Lord.

2 Thessalonians Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

I pray that the word of the Lord Jesus Christ may have free course & be glorified in me & through me, & that I may be delivered from unreasonable men who have wicked intent & that I may always have Your divinely implanted faith.

I acknowledge Lord that You are faithful & I trust You to establish my heart, me; & I pray that You guard me from those with evil intent.

I am confident that You will apply the right pressure to me Lord, so that I do & will continue to fulfill the charge I received.

And I pray Lord, that You direct my heart into meeting the Fathers spontaneous love & into meeting the patience of Christ.

My Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen me so that I would obey Your command to avoid disorderly brothers who do not follow Your ways & the traditions You taught us. Help me to follow You Lord, to imitate You; not to be disorderly.

Lord, may I always be willing to pay my own way, to work even night & day that I would never be a burden nor be indebted to anyone.
May I not abuse my liberty to do this but rather let me set an example that others could imitate.

Lord, if I am not willing to work then I must not be willing to eat.

Lord keep me from being disorderly, from being idle or from being busy about useless matters.

Lord Jesus Christ, help me to quietly get on with my work & to provide for my needs.
May I, by Your ability, never get tired of well doing.
Help me to obey Your word & by so doing, never to be ashamed, nor bring You shame.
Those disorderly brothers, help me to not treat them as enemies, but to rather admonish them as brothers.

My Lord of peace, give me peace through everything in every way & be with me Lord.
Lord Jesus Christ, may Your free undeserved favour be with me.

2nd Thessalonians Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

Father, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, & our gathering together to Him, keep me from ever becoming unsettled, alarmed, confused or troubled in my mind by so called ‘spirit communication’ prophecy, ‘word from God’ or book, even if by a leader in the church that claims that the day of the Lord is now here.
Father, protect me, let no one deceive me by any means or in any way: remind me that that day shall not come if the falling away from faith does not happen first – keep me from losing faith, from apostasy – & the man of lawlessness is unveiled, the son of perdition, who is an adversary to You God; who exalts himself above all that is called God, or is an object of worship; so that he sits in Your temple Father, approving himself to be You.
Help me to remember those things I have read & heard Lord, & to understand what is holding him fast until his time.

Protect me Lord from iniquity that works so secretly all the time; may He who holds the lawless one back continue to do so until Your appointed time to cast him out of the midst of the heavenlies.
When the lawless one is revealed Lord, consume him by the breath of Your mouth, bring him to nothing with the brightness of Your appearance when You come back.

Protect me Lord from the activities of the lawless one who is active with satan’s work, abstract power, wonders that produce an effect on those see them & works that seem to be of significance – let me not be taken in by them; let me not be deceived by these wrongs, like one who is perishing because they have not the love of the truth – may I always love the truth Lord, & without the truth, they will not be saved.

Father keep me from becoming like that & may I never be deluded or believe lies.
May I always accept & believe truth. May I never be in the slightest bit pleased with wrong doing, nor may I take any pleasure in wrong doing.

Help me to commit myself always, to give thanks to You, Father, Son & Holy Spirit, for my brothers & sisters who are totally loved by You Lord; I acknowledge that You God, from the beginning, chose them out for salvation within the holiness of the Spirit, the giver of holiness & implanter of truth: Give me more holiness & implant more truth, Spirit of God.

Thank You God for calling me by the Gospel; for making me a purchased possession of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Help me Lord to stand fast & lay hold of the traditions which I have been taught by hearing from Your teachers or by reading Your word.

My Lord Jesus Christ, & my God & Father, You have loved me & given me everlasting comfort & good hope within Your undeserved favour, appeal to, exhort & comfort my heart & establish me in every good word or work.

2nd Thessalonians Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Thank You Lord that I am part of the church which is in God the Father & in the Lord Jesus Christ.

God my Father, I pray that You & the Lord Jesus Christ would give me grace & peace.

God I thank You always because that divinely implanted principle faith, is growing.

Also, Your love through me to others is increasing.

So thank You God for this blessing.

Grant me patience & faith to endure any persecution or tribulations & afflictions.

Strengthen me for this Lord, that I may be counted worthy of God’s kingdom & prove His righteous judgment.

Thank You God that You will repay with tribulation, those that trouble us. And those of us that are troubled, You will give us rest when our Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that did not respond to their intuitive knowledge of God & those who would not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord I pray for them to be saved from everlasting destruction from Your presence & from the glory of Your power; when You come be glorified in Your saints & we will, even as we do now, admire You that day.

God, I pray that You would count me worthy of Your calling & that You help me to accomplish all the good pleasure of Your goodness, & the work of that living, divinely implanted principle faith; faith that is continuing & reproductive power: that the name of my Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in me, & I in Him, according to the grace of my God & the Lord Jesus Christ.

First Thessalonians Chapter 5

CHAPTER 5

Lord keep me from trying to work out when You are returning – I have more than enough to do in preparation for Your return – especially as I know that Your day comes like a thief in the night.

They will all be saying “Peace & safety” when suddenly destruction will be upon them, just like the birth process comes upon pregnant women, & there will be no escape.

Lord may I & my fellow believers not be in darkness, so that Your day would overtake us, like a thief.

Help us & strengthen us to be children of God’s light, sons of the day & not of the night or of darkness.

So help us not to prepare ourselves for sleep, like those who will remain behind, but to be awake & watching, alert.

Help us not to be asleep or drunk – not aware of what is going on around us & out of control of our senses & actions.

Lord help us, we who are of the day, to be awake, alert & vigilant, help us to put on like a chain mall coat, the divinely implanted gift of faith & Your love; To put on our helmet, the hope of our salvation received.

Thank You God, that You have not appointed humans to meet with Your wrath, but rather to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ

Thank You for Jesus who died for us, that whether we are alive & watching, or if our mortal bodies are dead, we should live together with Jesus.

God, in light of these wonderful facts, help me to appeal & comfort others, to edify others with this good news.

Help me Lord, to understand & recognise those who labour among us, who have authority in You, over us & who admonish us. That I would esteem them very highly in love on account of their work. Help us to be at peace among one another.

Lord, in Your ability may we: warn those that are disorderly, unruly; exhort & comfort the faint hearted; support the weak; be patient with all people.

May I never even consider bad or hurtful things, revenge, toward any other person, regardless that they may have done bad, hurtful & depraved things to me.

Instead Lord, help me, strengthen me to always do what is good, good for me & good for others.

It all boils down to letting You live out Your life, Your thoughts, Your words, Your actions & reactions, through me Lord Jesus.

If You do this Lord, I will rejoice for ever & ever. I pray without ceasing that You would do this Lord Jesus.
When You are doing these things Lord Jesus, I will thank You for everything, even the ‘bad things’ that happen to me, for they are opportunities for You to work & shine Your light through me & surely that is what God wants from me, to let You work & shine through me!

May I never do anything that would hinder the Spirit from bestowing spiritual gifts on me.

Let me never treat those spiritual gifts with contempt.

Help me to test & prove all things & help me to hold onto & retain those things which are good.

Strengthen & help me not to have any sort of involvement or association with evil, evil intent, mischief working or even grudges.

May You, the God of peace sanctify me wholly, honour me as set apart for You.

Keep my spirit, my soul, my body entire, without blame at the coming of my Lord Jesus Christ.

You who have called me are faithful, sure & true & I know that I can rely on You to do all this.

Remind me to lift up fellow believers to You in prayer Lord.

May I always preach all Your word Lord.

Let my greeting of fellow believers be with Your love & decentness.

My Lord, Jesus Christ, may Your grace accompany me , always.

AMEN!

First Thessalonians Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4

Lord, I have more than just ideas on how You want me to live so as to please You, I have had so much teaching & I also have access to huge quantities of teaching materials & of course, Your word, the Lord Jesus & Your written word.

So, by Your strength & Holy Spirit in me, let me get on with it, putting everything I know & have been taught, into practice on a regular & consistent basis.

Lord, Your will is quite plain; You want us holy & sanctified. To this end Lord I pray & commit myself to:
Abstain from fornication & sexual immorality – both in thought & deed.

Help me to stand firm in this Lord, to be holy with honour & integrity.
To abstain & renounce lust & passions which, if they occupy my thoughts, are really a rejection of You God & all You have done for me, & thus I am no different to a non-believer.

Lord may I never do this, or even think of it, not with the wife, daughter or sister of any brother, in fact with no other woman at all.

God help me to be holy, to live, think, speak & act holy.

May I never reject this, for in so doing, I am not rejecting men, I am rejecting You God, You who also gave us the giver of gifts, the Holy Spirit, Your Holy Spirit.

God, You have taught me to love others & I thank You for that, but I also ask that You help me to do this more & more, let the love that You have for people flow through me God.

And help me Lord to make an earnest endeavor to lead & live a restful & quiet life, to attend to my own affairs, to work with my own hands to provide my needs, so that I would have integrity, be decent & honest toward all, including outsiders & so that I would lack nothing.

Lord thank You that I know where my fellow believers are, those who have died on earth.

Thank You that I do not have sorrow or no hope regarding this.

Lord I believe that Jesus died & rose again & I believe that those who have died in Jesus, when Jesus returns, God You will bring them with Him.

Lord, I believe & rejoice in Your word that tells me that if I am still alive when You return, I shall not meet You before You meet those who have died.

For You shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel & with the trumpet call of God & the dead in Christ shall rise first.
Then we who are alive & remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet You Lord Jesus in the air; & then we shall always be with You Lord Jesus.

May I comfort others with these words Lord.
