Colossians Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4

As an employer, Lord guide me in what is just & fair, for You are my employer in heaven.

Strengthen me so that I may continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving: God I also pray that You would open a door for all Your labourers, for the word, so that we may speak the mystery of Christ & that we may make it manifest as we ought to speak.

Help me, guide me to walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, that I would redeem the time I get to spend with them.

May my speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt & teach me the answers for each one.

Let me live as a beloved brother, a faithful minister & fellow servant in the Lord.

When I know others circumstances, help me to comfort their hearts.

May I always make other believers feel welcome, & be a comfort to them.

May I always labour fervently for others in prayer, that they may stand perfect & complete in all the will of God.

I want to always be mindful of the ministry which I have received in You Lord, help me to fulfill it.

May I remember those who are in chains for the Gospel, & pray for them.

I pray for grace to be with all believers.

Colossians Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

Lord God, I have been raised with Christ, Thank You!

Help me to seek those things which are above, where Jesus is sitting at Your right hand God.

Help me to set my mind on things above, not on things on earth.

I have died Lord & I thank You that my life is hidden with You in God.

When You Jesus, who are my life, appear, may I also appear with You in glory.

Help me to put to death my members which are on earth: Sexual immorality; impurity; lust; evil desires & greed, which all equate to idolatry; they must die off Lord.

God, I do not want to be a son of disobedience, nor incur Your wrath by doing any of these things I once walked in when I lived in them.

Lord I need Your help to put off all these:
Anger; Wrath; Malice; Blasphemy; Filthy language out of my mouth.

Let me not lie to any one and help me to put off the old man with his deeds & to put on the new man who is renewed through an intimate relationship with Jesus.

Jesus, I want You to reflect Your image in me, for You created me.

Let me have no racial or cultural prejudices, may I realise that You Jesus, made all & are in all.

God You elected me, made me holy & beloved, so help me to be tender, merciful, kind, humble, meek, patient, to bear with others & to forgive others.

If I have any sort of complaint against any one, Lord remind me how You forgave me, & let me do the same, forgiving them.

Above all these things Lord, let me put on love, which is the perfect bond.

God, I want Your peace to rule in my heart, for You have called me to peace in one body.
Thank You Lord.

Lord Jesus, I want Your word to be at home in me, that Your word would bear fruit & be profitable in me, giving me wisdom.
That I could teach & be taught; correct & be corrected; encourage & be encouraged in Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual songs; Fill my heart with grace Lord & a song for You.

God, my Father, no matter what I say or do, let me do everything as though doing it for You & in the name, under the banner of the Lord Jesus.

In all things let me give thanks to God my Father through You Lord Jesus.

As a wife, I submit to my own husband as You require Lord.

As a husband, help me to love my wife correctly & not to be bitter toward her.

As a child, help me to obey my parents in all things & so to please You Lord.

As a father, help me not to provoke my children, nor to do anything that would discourage them.

As an employee, help me to be obedient to my employer on earth, not just when he is watching me, to try please him, but in sincerity of my heart out of respect to You God, my true employer. For I look to You my Lord to receive the reward of the inheritance as I serve my Lord& Christ.

I know that if I do wrong I will be repaid for what I have done & there is no partiality.

Colossians Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

Lord if I have any conflict, may it be conflict in prayer for Your people.

I pray that our hearts would be encouraged, that we would be knit together in love & we would attain to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of our Father & of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom & knowledge.

Lord, protect me from anyone who would try to deceive me with persuasive words. Keep me in good order & steadfast in my faith in Christ.

Lord Jesus help me to walk in You like I received You; to be rooted & built up in You, established in the faith Lord, as I was taught & abounding in faith. I thank You for this Lord.

Lord protect me from anyone who would want to cheat me through philosophy & empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world & not according to You, Lord Jesus.

For in You dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily: & I am complete in You Jesus, the head of all principality & power.

In you Jesus, I am circumcised with the circumcision made without hands. Help me to put off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. To be buried with You in baptism & also raised with You through faith in the working of God who raised Jesus from the dead.

I was dead in my trespasses & the uncircumcision of my flesh, & God, You made me alive, together with Jesus & You have, for which I thank You Lord, forgiven me all trespasses as You wiped out the hand writing of requirements that were against me, contrary to me. You have taken it out of the way, You nailed it to the cross – Thank You!

You disarmed principalities & powers. You made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross – I praise You for this Lord Jesus!

Let me never judge any one in food or in drink, or regarding a festival, a new moon or sabbath for they are a shadow of things to come; let me rather understand that the substance is of Christ.

Protect me from anyone who wants to cheat me of my reward, who takes delight in false humility & worship of angels, who intrudes into those things which they have not seen & are vainly puffed up by their fleshly mind.
Help me to hold fast to You Jesus, the Head & from whom all the body, nourished & knit together by joints & ligaments grows with the increase that is from God.

So Lord Jesus, as I died with You to the basic principles of the world, help me not to subject myself to regulations as though I was living in the world: Keep me from the commandments & doctrines of men that appear to be wise with their self-imposed religion, false humility & worship of the body; but they can not help me against the indulgence of the flesh.

Colossians Chapter One

CHAPTER 1

Lord, make me a messenger, a servant to do Your will God.

May all the saints & brethren be faithful in Christ I pray.

My Father God & Lord Jesus Christ, I pray that You give all my brethren grace & peace.

God & Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, I give thanks to You & I pray for all my fellow believers, including myself: That we would have total faith in Christ Jesus; that we would have great love for all the saints.

I pray that these would flow from us as we realise the hope that is laid up for us in heaven, as we hear & understand the word of truth, the Gospel.

May the true Gospel come, not just to us but to all the world & may it bring forth fruit just like it did among us from the day we heard. May we all know the grace of God, in truth.

May I be, not only a fellow servant, but also a faithful minister of Christ on behalf of others, with love in the Spirit.

Lord, may I never cease to pray for others.

Lord, fill us all with the knowledge of Your will. That in all spiritual wisdom & spiritual understanding we would know Your will & thus be able to walk worthy of You Lord, that we may please You & be fruitful in every good work & that our intimate acquaintance with God, our personal relationship with God would increase.

Strengthen us with all might, according to Your glorious power so that we may have great endurance & patience together with joy.

How I thank You Father, for You have qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness & conveyed me into the kingdom of Your Son whom You love, in whom I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Jesus, You are the image of the invisible God. You are the firstborn over all creation.
By You Jesus, all things were created, all things in heaven & on earth, things visible & invisible, whether thrones or dominions, principalities or powers.
All things were created through You Lord Jesus, & for You.
Jesus, You are before all things & in You all things consist.
And You are the head of the body, the church, for You are the beginning, the first born from the dead that in all things You may have the preeminence.

Father, You were pleased to have all the fullness dwell in Jesus & by Him, to reconcile all things to Yourself, by Jesus, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of Jesus cross.

Lord I pray for all those who are like we once were: Alienated enemies in our mind by wicked works.
That like us they would be reconciled in the body of Jesus flesh through death, that we would all be presented holy & blameless & above reproach in Your sight.

Strengthen us so that we will continue in the faith, grounded & steadfast & that we would not be moved away from the hope of the Gospel which we heard, & Lord, may I be a minister of this Gospel of hope & preach it to every creature under heaven, for there is no hope anywhere else but in the Gospel.

Even if I should suffer, I rejoice Lord, as it is for the sake of others & so I offer myself to You Lord Jesus, use me in any way You want for Your body, the church.

If it be Your will God, I will minister as a servant to others, to fulfill the word of God; help me to reveal Your mystery that has been hidden from ages & generations, to Your saints. For it is Your will to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among non-believers: Christ in us, the hope of glory.

Let me preach Jesus & warn every man, teach every man, in all wisdom, that I may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
Help me in these labours Lord, that I would strive to do only what You want to do through me.
